SpeedRez

In early January of 2019 my friend Kevin & I had a two hour conversation of which one conversation was me getting involved in the local car scene after him finding out I was into photography as a hobby. One thing lead to another & he pitched the name SpeedRez as the instagram handle. "Speed" relating to cars & "Rez" relating to camera resolutions, SpeedRez was born.

Moving into February of that year, Kevin provided me with all the posted car meets & events that were going to occur for the season, the first ones being a local Cars & Coffee meet & the other being World of Wheels.

Shortly after those two events, a local car owner named Andrew who is now a close friend of mine posted that he was out shooting & anyone was welcome to tag along which then became my first time ever shooting a car by itself.

From there after attending more & more meets & meeting new people each time, another owner named Kaiden, who became a close friend of mine, contacted me to shoot which became my first ever paid photoshoot.

As my name began to grow & I was making more & more friends in the community, I was blessed to host meets of my own to bring both the car community together as well as any & all photographers together to learn from each other & get the opportunity to shoot really rad cars in staged settings.

Fast forwarding a year later SpeedRez started to substantially grow & my career completely changed within a week. Jake, a friend of mine connected me with a friend of his, JM, that wanted shots taken of his Audi S7 & soon to arrive Audi R8. JM then introduced me more & more to friends of his that owned luxury exotic cars & in that same week a local photographer, Bali, referenced me to his friend Syed on getting photos taken of his new Lamborghini Huracan. All happening within one week, my career & the cars I was getting hired to take photos of completely changed.

Moving further down the road, I then was hired to shoot for a local exotic owner, Fred, to shoot some of his cars & shoot the Team KC group as they were about to head off to Crown rally, introducing me to a few owners that would lead to me being hired to shoot for a separate rally. On top of that I was beginning to be hired for things outside of automotive shoots, specifically for a few local businesses in the area. My career was growing into something very substantial.

The memories that each & every person I've been blessed to both meet and/or take photos for along this journey has changed my life entirely. It's a blessing to have developed so many incredible friendships with each & everyone that I've met ever since coming into the community. Memories I will never forget & friendships I will never let disappear. To everyone in Kansas City, you all are my family each & every one of you & I can't thank you enough for the way you've impacted my life <3

Because of each & every one of you, I was able to take my work & branch it out to a whole different part of the country after an offer had been put on the table. To each & every person I've gotten to meet & shoot for here in Oregon, I can't thank you enough. The friendships I've been fortunate to make out here has been a blessing being so new to a different part of the world & the friendliness/ welcoming I've received from everyone here has been amazing. The memories already made in the short period I've been here have been nothing short of amazing.

So, once again, to each & every person I've been blessed to meet online or in person, thank you. You've truly changed my life making me able to live my dream & provide me with one of the most amazing things, friendship
